Professional Issues in Automated Science

Course Number: 02-605

This course gives Master’s in Automated Science students an exposure to the ethical and professional issues which are unique to the field of automated science. This course will also include opportunities to connect with industry professional with an interest in automated science. This course will meet once a week and is pass/fail only. The grading scheme will be discussed on the first day of class.

Currently open to MSAS students only

  • Ethics of automated science
  • Current applications of automation in industry

Assessment Structure:

Course participation (pass/fail), with students able to miss at most one participation day per semester. Students must also submit a final reflection on the course.
