Team from Carnegie Mellon selected to advance to the International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition World Championship
A team of undergraduate students from Carnegie Mellon University has been selected to advance to the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition’s World Championship Jamboree to be held Nov. 2-5 in Cambridge, Mass. The team was composed of Yang Choo (BME/ChemEng), Eric Pederson (Biol Sci.), Jesse Salazar (BME/ECE), and Peter Wei (BME/ECE). The team is led by Lane Fellow Cheemeng Tan and ECE Adjunct Faculty member Natasa Miskov-Zivanov.
The team’s faculty advisors were Ge Yang (BME and Lane Center), Diana Marculescu (ECE), Catalina Achim (Chemistry), and Aaron Mitchell (Biological Sciences).
