CPCB Graduate Awarded Honorable Mention for SCS Dissertation Award

Yang Yang, a recent CPCB graduate from Jian Ma's lab, was awarded an honorable mention from the School of Computer Science Distinguished Dissertation Award.  This distinction is presented annually by the School of Computer Science in recognition of outstanding work by a graduate student.  

Yang defended her dissertation, "Computational Methods for multi-species comparison of 3D genome organization and function", in December 2020.  She is currently a postdoctoral researcher in Dana Pe'er's lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
