Bio

Dr. Rosenfeld’s research interests include computational epidemiology and viral evolution.  Working within the multi-university NIH MIDAS study, he focuses on modeling the dynamics of real-world epidemics and the evolution of viruses during such epidemics, both within the host and at the population level.  This includes predicting the effects of interventions like vaccination, antiviral drug use and school closings, and optimizing the associated public health policies.
